But the actress has asked a question on her micro-blogging site Twitter about the word Aunty. She wrote, “Why is `Aunty’ suddenly being used in a derogatory manner? Mostly boys/men think they are getting back at me calling me one. My child’s friends have been calling me ‘aunty’ for ages. Don’t we all call our female elders `mashi’ `masi’ `aunty’ ?! What am I missing out ?”
